Sara Blanch participates for the third time at the Belcanto Opera Festival Rossini in Wilbald, in the middle of the German Black Forest, a festival internationally renowned for discovering new operas of the belcanto repertory and outstanding young singers, such as Sara Blanch herself in her debut in 2015 with the Elvira from L'Italiana in Algeri. Sara again sang in 2016 the role of Adèle, from Le comte Ory, and in her third participation in July 2019 she will debut in the role of Matilde of the opera Matilde di Shabran, o sia Bellezza e Cuor di ferro.

Double debut: Lucia in Perm (Russia)
Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti)
Sara Blach makes her first interpretation of the main role of Lucia di Lammermoor by Donizetti, one of the main operas of bel canto, based on the novel The Bride of Lammermoor by Walter Scott. It is also his debut at the Perm Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theater, in Russia, one of the oldest theaters in the country (opened in 1870) and which has remained a major musical centre during its history. The stage direction is by Constantinos Contocristos and the musical direction by Ektoras Tartanis.

L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti)
L'elisir d'amore in a new production of the Teatre Principal de Palma, conceived by the Mallorcan director José Martret, who makes his debut in the lyrical field, with an original approach: he places the love story between Nemorino, performed by Xabier Anduaga , and Adina, role played by Sara Blanch, in a hotel next to a Balearic beach in the sixties, with a wardrobe designed by Lorenzo Caprile. The Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears will be conducted by Yi-Chen Lin.

World premiere of the opera by B. Casablancas
L'enigma di Lea (Casablancas)
Sara Blanch will participate as one of the ladies of the border (the First Lady) in the world premiere at the Gran Teatre del Liceu of L'enigma di Lea, the first opera by Benet Casablancas, with texts by Rafael Agullol. Josep Pons will head a team of experts in contemporary music who will tackle the challenging score, while Carme Portacelli, one of the finest contemporary stage directors, will be in charge of the mise-en-scène.
